Greetings ladies! I'm super excited about our first wedding of the week! I have been privileged to have Stefanie from Pretty is This allow me to feature her wedding today! From the gorgeous vintage details and amazing modest dress to the friend and family members whose creativity made the day possible, this wedding won't disappoint!
From the lovely bride: Our beautiful day was set at the Rengstorff House in Mountain View, CA. We put so much detail into our wedding over the course of nine months, and I couldn't be happier with the result! There were many Pinterest inspired DIY projects, antique/thrift shop hunting, handmade dresses, and working with a seamstress to keep my dress modest. I come from family full of creative and crafty minds, so I had an abundance of help. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day, it was everything I dreamed of!
I really loved my wedding dress! It was an Oleg Cassini, and I bought it from David's Bridal. I had originally gone in with my mind set on another dress, I was all ready to pay and take it home with me. My sister saw this while we were waiting, and I HAD to try it on! It was designed strapless, so we added the bodice and sleeves on to make it modest. I was very insistent on wanting my dress to look like one piece, not a strapless dress with something attached to it. Thankfully, I found fabric that matched it perfectly! The fabric and layers are so delicate, my seamstress said that this was one of the most difficult dress she's ever worked on.

The watch I'm wearing was my "something old". It was my grandmother's, left with the rest of her jewelry before she passed away. I found it years ago and decided to put it away for my wedding day.
All of my bridesmaid's dresses were handmade, some using vintage patterns. My vision included coordinating colors, long and flowy, and of course modest. They all looked gorgeous!
My floral designer Nicole, who was also a bridesmaid, did an AMAZING job! My theme included shades of blush and peach, she worked so hard on making my dream come to life. Her Facebook page: www.facebook.com/OrangeBlossomsFloral
This picture was a tear-jerk-er!
My table decor included lace table runners, vintage books, and small vases that I had thrifted from Goodwill. Dustin's grandmother also gifted me with vintage teapots that we spread out over all the tables!
This was a photo backdrop that my mom created, and she hand painted the floral design on the letters! They looked so so pretty, and now I'm planning to hang this somewhere in my house. :)
I spent months searching for vintage plates to glue onto stands for dessert table. {Homemade pies and cheesecakes by my husband's grandmothers! They were a hit!} The chalkboard signs were designed by my multitalented sister Deanna.
Our favors were white paper bags filled with chocolate covered almonds.
We stamped them in gold, with peonies {that were in my bouquet} and the word "love".
