Welcome to Modest Monday! I'm jumping to the moon over today's topic! I hope you enjoy these dresses!
Ah, wedding dresses: you never cease to make me swoon with delight (unless you are strapless, then, EEK!). It is so surprising to see so many designers and brides go for a bit more modest look. Sleeves (especially the lace ones...*squeal*) are becoming quite popular!
Now to the topic of silhouette (I spelled this word wrong the first time): the classic a-line. It's softer than a ballgown but flows much nicer than mermaid gowns. It's bliss, I tell you!
This Monique Lhuillier a-line lace wedding gown is probably the reason I started this blog! It's too gorgeous!

I spy a vintage dress! Best part about vintage dresses: most already come modest! This one below has a detachable train for after the ceremony. You can find dresses like this on Etsy.
The movement of a beautiful a-line is shown below. *sigh*
This gorgeous Edwardian-inspired wedding gown is amazing! The lace detail, the high collar, the bows, the ruffles! It's a girly-girl's heaven!
Not a ruffle-person? Here's a sleek and classic a-line that's sheer perfection!
A-line: It's gorgeous! It gives you lots of room to move and it is suitable for all body types. It's very figure flattering and is a great alternative to the ballgown. Breathtaking indeed!
That's a wrap lovelies!
